About Us

The Registered Providers are Sandy and Sanjay Ramdany and they are both qualified nurses (Registered General Nurses) and each have over 17 years of hands on experience working in the NHS.  Sandy oversees the running of Waxham House as well as being a full time mum and housewife with 3 young children, Hena  (11 years), Rohan (7 Years) and Tiya (3 years).  Sandy did her nurse training in Dartford, Kent and worked as a senior staff nurse in the care of the elderly person throughout most of her nursing career and holds a Diploma in Higher Education for Nursing the Older Person (University of Greenwich) and a specialist course in the nursing of elderly people (ENB 298). 

Sanjay deals with the all financial aspects of running the business as well as being the handy man when he is around.  He currently works full time in a teaching hospital in London as a Senior Cardiology Research Co-ordinator and a Heart Failure Specialist and he holds a diploma in computer studies, a BSc (Hons) in Nursing, a Masters Degree in Cardiology and various specialist qualifications in the cardiology and management fields.  Half of his time is spent up in London and the other half on the island.
